We’ve been through some difficult years here in Wisconsin. Families are working hard to make ends meet and continuing to struggle. I understand why so many people are frustrated with government, and I believe you deserve better than you’ve gotten from the Republican-led legislature here in Wisconsin.
With new and competitive legislative maps, the people of Wisconsin are finally able to make their voices heard in our Capitol. I am hopeful that we are about to forge a new path.
As your representative and the Assembly Democratic Leader, I am working to build a state where our neighbors are not a medical emergency away from going broke, where our schools have the resources to support every child, and where everyone can comfortably raise a family and retire with dignity. This session, despite being in the minority party, I helped secure significant investments in cleaning up our drinking water and helped expand access to healthcare for new moms.
I am committed to building safer, stronger, and more welcoming communities. I will continue to fight to lower the lower costs of groceries, healthcare, childcare, and housing. I will make sure the millionaires and billionaires are paying their fair share. And I will always work to restore and protect your rights.

Greta Neubauer was born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin. She is a fifth generation Racine resident and welcomed her first child, the sixth generation, this summer! She can’t wait to teach her daughter to swim in Lake Michigan.
Growing up in a political family, Greta learned about the importance of service at an early age and started volunteering for political candidates in high school. She went on to run a youth advocacy organization focused on addressing climate change after college.
She was first elected and has represented the Racine community in the Wisconsin State Assembly since 2018. She was unanimously elected by her colleagues to serve as the Democratic Leader in 2022 as the youngest caucus leader in modern history. With competitive maps in place for the most recent election, she led the caucus in picking up ten additional seats, the largest increase in numbers in 50 years. She is working to win the first Democratic trifecta in Wisconsin in 15 years and would be the first woman Speaker in Wisconsin history.
During her time in office, she has fought tirelessly for the people of Racine, Mt. Pleasant, Elmwood Park, and Sturtevant, focusing on strengthening our democracy and building a state where we all can thrive.
She was a Victory Institute Bohnett Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, serves on the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee Board, and is a Rodel Fellow.
We must adequately fund and support our public schools so every kid can get a great reading and math education and be prepared for their future careers!
Wisconsinites are struggling to make ends meet while the rich continue to get richer. We must lower the cost of healthcare, groceries, childcare, and housing.
We can create good jobs and reduce inequality while cutting our carbon footprint. We owe this to future generations!
We have a duty to make sure everyone has the opportunity to live up to their greatest potential, regardless of the color of their skin, who they love, or which neighborhood they are from.
I believe that healthcare is a right, not a luxury, and we need to expand access and ensure affordability for every family. If and when to end a pregnancy is a deeply personal decision and should not be up to politicians.
We must ensure every eligible voter is able to cast their ballot and have their vote count. We must push back against politicians’ efforts to consolidate power by breaking the rules and ignoring the will of the people.
In recent years, right-wing Republicans have ramped up the culture wars in an attempt to divide us. All Wisconsinites deserve to feel welcomed and supported in the communities they call home.
